Playgroup
Riverwood Public School is proud to partner with Koorana Child and Family Services to host a supported playgroup to support children and families in our community.
Join us in our school hall on a Monday from 9.30-11.30am, during school term. Children aged 0-6 welcome.
Playgroup is an all-inclusive play-based learning experience where you and your children aged 0-6 years can socialise, play and develop new skills.
Koorana facilitators support parent-child relationships, increasing your understanding, skills and confidence as parents and carers to support your child's development.
We provide a safe environment for you and your children to establish ongoing social support networks and connections.
Our facilitators provide your family with access to information, advice and referral to internal and external services in the community.

Our preschool
Our public preschool is a fee-free preschool at Riverwood Public School. It’s an easy choice for local families with young children.
Kindergarten transition
Starting school is a big step for children and families. Our school runs orientation and transition activities called 'Riverwood Ready' to help your child feel ready for Kindergarten and to support you as parents and carers.
